Campus

Affordable, shared accommodation (approx. €22/night/room) is available in the Hotel Universitas at approx. 40 minutes walking distance from the conference buildings (Address: Pandurilor Street, No.7). The hotel is located at the campus of the Babeș-Bolyai University, situated in the Iuliu Hațieganu Park. There are 100 rooms pre-booked in this hotel for conference participants, each equipped with three single beds and a private bathroom. A shared kitchen area is also available for use in the hallway.

Since the number of people who can be accommodated here are limited to 300, we encourage participants to only book the rooms if they intend to share the room with at least one (preferably two) other registered participant. Rooms can be reserved only for the whole conference period (5 nights). Requests will be honoured in the order of registration, and the number of free beds in the hotel will be indicated during the registration procedure.

Hostels and hotels

If you wish to stay at a hotel you have to make reservations on your own. Cluj has a good number of nice and affordable hostels and hotels (€25-€150), including many within the old town.
